Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a unique rustic charm with thatch-roof rooms sparsely furnished and surrounded by black sand next to a canal, but expect some mosquitoes. Prior to our stay, this feature was not showcased on their website. The location feels safe and secure throughout the property, providing a sense of comfort. The dining options were available until noon, offering some snacks. Overall, the facilities provided a satisfactory experience.
The hotel offers a unique rustic experience with sparsely furnished thatch-roof rooms surrounded by black sand on the canal side. Despite the mosquito presence, the peaceful ambiance is ideal for nature lovers. The service is professional overall, but dealing with disruptive guests may be encountered. The location provides a safe haven for those unfamiliar with the area, and the dining experience offers authentic Spanish dishes until noon. The facilities are well-maintained, although some amenities may fall short of expectations.
Staying at this hotel was quite an experience! The rooms are rustic, thatch-roofed, and sparsely furnished, surrounded by black sand on the canal side, but be prepared for the mosquitos. The service had its ups and downs; I had to ask some drunken guests to leave our 'private' pool and head back to the restaurant pools, which was a bit of a bother. On the positive side, the service staff who were working were extremely professional. The location felt safe and secure, although if you're not familiar with the area, you might find yourself a bit lost in the food area through the house grounds. Dining was a delight, especially their seriously yummy Pork Belly served until noon.
